What we offer
Most drainage repairs do not need excavation
For decades, a failed drain meant digging the garden up. That is no longer the only option. CIPP (cured-in-place pipe) lining installs a new resin-impregnated liner inside the existing pipe and cures it in place, creating a new bore inside the old one. The result is a structural repair with no excavation and a design life comparable to a new pipe.
Call2Drain runs both no-dig and excavation work. CCTV diagnosis identifies the right approach for the specific defect: patch lining for localised cracks and displaced joints, full lining for longer runs with multiple defects, excavation for collapsed sections or where the pipe geometry will not accept a liner.
Where excavation is needed, the CCTV survey reduces the dig. Instead of opening the whole run to find the problem, we dig at the exact location identified - usually a single small hole, reinstated to match the surrounding surface.
No-dig where possible

Most drainage repairs no longer need the garden dug up
For decades a failed drain meant excavation. CIPP (cured-in-place pipe) lining now installs a new resin liner inside the existing pipe and cures it in place, creating a structural repair with a design life comparable to a new pipe — and no trench across your garden, drive or car park.
We run both no-dig and excavation work across Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Essex & London, with CCTV diagnosis first to choose the right approach: a patch liner for a localised crack or displaced joint, full lining for a longer run, or a small, precisely-located dig where the pipe has collapsed. Every repair is confirmed with a post-works CCTV inspection.
- CIPP no-dig lining with a 50-year design life
- Patch lining for localised defects
- Precisely-located excavation where lining will not work
- Post-repair CCTV verification and written guarantee
How it works
How a drainage repair works
CCTV diagnose
High-resolution survey identifies the exact location, length and type of defect.
Plan the repair
No-dig liner, localised patch or excavation - whichever fits the defect and the pipe geometry.
Install and verify
Repair installed, cured where needed, post-repair CCTV inspection confirms the result.
FAQs
Common questions
How long does a lining repair last?
A well-installed CIPP liner has a design life comparable to a new pipe - 50 years is widely cited in the industry.
Is no-dig cheaper than excavation?
Usually yes once you include reinstatement of gardens, paths or driveways. The repair line itself is sometimes more expensive but the total cost is lower.
What if the pipe has fully collapsed?
Lining needs a continuous bore. A fully collapsed section means excavation, but CCTV pinpoints the exact location so the dig is small.
