Overview
When unblocking is not enough — proper drain cleaning
Most blockages can be cleared in 30 minutes with a rod or a low-pressure jet. But over time, the inside of a drain accumulates grease, mineral scale, fat, hair and silt that no quick clear-out will shift. The flow gets slower, blockages happen more often, and the cycle repeats until something more drastic is needed.
Our specialist cleaning category solves that — properly. High-pressure jetters running up to 4,000 psi strip the inside of pipes back to bare clay or PVC. Descaling tools remove cement and lime build-up from cast iron and older systems. Vacuum tankers suck out silt and stormwater debris from gullies, soakaways and surface-water channels.
We run cleaning contracts for housing stock, commercial kitchens, food processors, schools, care homes and managing agents across Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Essex & London — typically on six- or twelve-month cycles to head off blockages before they become emergencies. One-off deep cleans available too, for properties that have not had a proper clear-out in years.

Back to bare pipe
Strips out the build-up a quick rod leaves behind
Grease, scale, fat, hair and silt accumulate on the inside of a drain for years until the flow slows and blockages become routine. Specialist cleaning removes that build-up at source: high-pressure jetting back to bare clay or PVC, mechanical descaling for hardened scale, and vacuum tankers for silted gullies and channels.

Common questions
How often should drains be cleaned?
For domestic main drains, a thorough jet every 2–3 years is plenty. For commercial kitchens, every 3–6 months. For food processors and large care homes, monthly maintenance is typical.
Will jetting damage older clay pipes?
No — our engineers adjust pressure based on the pipe material. Clay and PVC are safe at standard pressures; cast iron and concrete tolerate higher settings.
Do you handle commercial cleaning contracts?
Yes. We run scheduled jetting and gully-sucking contracts for housing associations, schools, care homes, food processors and managing agents across Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Essex & London.
Can you remove tree-root intrusion?
Yes — high-pressure jetting with a root-cutting nozzle removes most root growth. For severe intrusion we follow up with a CCTV survey and a no-dig patch repair.
