What we offer
Rodding pokes a hole. Jetting cleans the pipe.
Traditional rodding has its place, but it does not clean the pipe - it punches a hole through the blockage and leaves the surrounding build-up in situ. Within weeks that build-up catches the next thing and the drain blocks again. High-pressure water jetting strips the pipe wall back to bare material, restoring the bore close to original and dramatically extending the time between blockages.
Call2Drain vehicles carry jetting equipment rated to 4,000 PSI with a full nozzle library: rear-facing for scour and self-feed, forward-facing for breaking through dense blockages, rotating heads for 360-degree wall coverage, and root-cutting blades for tree root ingress at clay joints.
For commercial premises - restaurants, takeaways, hotels, factories, retail parades - we run scheduled jetting contracts that keep kitchen and washroom drainage flowing year-round. Jet-vac tanker combinations handle the larger jobs where the debris needs vacuuming away rather than flushing further down the system.

Cleaning the full bore
Strips the pipe wall back to bare material
Rodding punches a hole through a blockage and leaves the surrounding build-up behind, which is why rodded drains so often block again within weeks. High-pressure water jetting scours the entire pipe wall — fat, scale, silt and debris — restoring the bore close to its original diameter and dramatically extending the interval between blockages.
Our Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Essex & London jetting units run up to 4,000 PSI with a full nozzle library: rear-facing for scour and self-feed, forward-cutting for dense blockages and rotating heads for 360-degree coverage. On older pipework we CCTV first, so the pressure is matched safely to the age and condition of the pipe.
- Working pressures up to 4,000 PSI
- Directional nozzles matched to the blockage and pipe
- Jet-vac tanker combinations for larger jobs
- Scheduled contracts for commercial kitchens and sites
How it works
How a jetting visit works
Inspect the system
On older runs we CCTV first to confirm the pipe will accept jetting safely at the chosen pressure.
Select nozzle and pressure
Right nozzle for the blockage and right pressure for the pipe material. No one-size-fits-all jetting.
Clean and confirm
Working back along the run, then a flow test through every chamber to confirm the system runs freely.
FAQs
Common questions
Will jetting damage old clay pipes?
Not at appropriate pressures. The risk comes from heavy pressure on already-failed pipework - which is why we CCTV first on older systems.
How often should commercial drains be jetted?
Restaurants and takeaways typically benefit from quarterly jetting. Office buildings may only need it annually.
Does jetting work on a collapsed pipe?
No. Jetting can clear what is in front of a collapse but the collapsed section itself needs repair - excavation or no-dig relining - before flow is restored.
